This isn't one of my best canal pictures and nor does it claim to be. But with the snow, frozen water and the interesting detail (Gothic window) in the red boat, it passes muster for inclusion. It also deserves credit for having been taken in a less picturesque part of the canal network.

Deserves credit? Okay, we'll make that a D+.
