I have the dubious distinction of being given a ride in one of these, owned by my uncle, and not remembering anything about it. But then I was 8 years old and had absolutely zero interest in cars or anything mechanical (I still don't!)

Thanks. The car just happened to turn up when I was looking around the village at around 5pm today. The man (a local resident who had restored the car himself during the Lockdown) obligingly moved it to where I could get a decent shot of it.
A nice stroke of luck, of which you made the most!
I wasn't implying no love cars, of course I love the classic lines here and there was a time in the 90s when I drove Alfas almost exclusively (and loved them!).
