Looks like you were trying to be clever there.

Looks AS THOUGH I was trying to be clever there, I have to admit.

Have you had many 'as thoughs' on this one?

Ha ha. If the picture were if exposed rock, some might have lichened it.

But (seriously) what's particularly clever (or tries to be) about this shot? I might have done better taking it with my iPhone, the tiny sensor on which gives acceptable image quality but almost unlimited depth of field.

Try both next time.

A late friend of mine used to work on that lighthouse.
Not a pretty sight seeing the bodies on the beach.

But I'd like to think that mine would have been one of the prettier ones, had I had the courage to jump.
