A good vantage point you found here, Howard. Lots of interest in a place I recall visiting in the late 70s (We holidayed in Suffolk for a number of years and travelled around East Anglia on many days). I'm amazed at how much I remember as I would have been in my mid teens then.

I also discovered it in the 1970's - I was in my 20's then - in my youth hostelling days, when during the Spring (mostly) I'd often - if the weather was sunny - just pack my bag and drive up there. Our paths might have crossed.
