An absolute wow of a winter capture.
I'm fond of the place anyway (many a rock climb at crags and quarries near here in my misspent youth) and this is a real gem!

Yes, I've stayed near Dolgellau nearly 20 times at that time of year (between Christmas and New Year) but only one year - 2000 - was it ever like that. Fresh, heavy snow which froze overnight, followed by 4 days of sun and blue skies.
