Pearly king Henry Croft, who isn't buried here but at St.Pancras cemetery in east Finchley. Vandalism led to the statue being "restored" and placed here as modern pearlies have a do in the church each year. He died in 1930, having become the first pearly king in order to raise money for charities in the 1880s. We all know where he is now. . .
