I thought of you when I saw this!
Unfortunately wasn't able to go inside. I'm not sure what it was doing there. It seemed to be associated with an event (possibly wedding reception) that was being set up. I assumed this was the area where people would be able to go to look at pics of the event and/or order copies etc.
Have you been to Trinity Bouy Wharf? Fascinating. You'd enjoy it (although this might not be there then as it was probably only there for the event). But I'm sure your visit is planned to the hilt by now and bursting at the seams?
Maybe a photo booth for people attending the event to have pix of themselves taken -- like the photo booths in train & bus stations in days gone by.
I haven't been to Trinity Buoy Wharf, though I feel I've seen it in movies with Bob Hoskins and episodes of Waking the Dead. Maybe I could work it in on the day I got to Tower Hamlets Cemetery, Three Mills Island, and ride the dangle tram from Royal Victoria to Greenwich. The itinerary is filling up, but there are still a couple (intentional) blank spots so that I can work in serendipitous opportunities.
