The vision of Trump in his tower does not reassure me that He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. :-(

Thank you everyone. Politics aside, the beginning of every presidency is a breath of fresh air marked by renewed opportunity and hope. It doesn't matter who the leader is on day one. Only when reality sets in and decisions begin to be made does this hope begin to evaporate. :( Presidencies are a prisoner of the circumstances they are presented with. So at least on day one I do hope and would have had the same hope had Hillary Clinton been sworn in.

Treasa Ui Cionaodha replied to William Sutherland:

Yes we have to wait and see. However I don't think that his first to do list which included Trump
stripping the official web site of some of Obama's policies. and rolling back Obama Care.

"The Trump White House also stripped the official website of all mention of Obama’s key policy agendas, including climate change and LGBT rights along with the civil rights history section" ( As reported in the Guardian Newspaper"
Maybe I am wrong but in particular this above action by him smacks to me of trying to erase all trace of Obama's efforts to improve things in many areas.
