"auf diesem Bild sieht man nicht viel davon", aber ich glaube, ich sehe das Brandenburger Tor, wahrscheinlich eine optische Täuschung... ;-)
An interesting series, Edna. I'll have to keep exploring it to figure out where you're digging it from....
Das Brandenburger Tor als Zeichen der deutsch-französischen Freundschaft? :-))
Underneath the photo of Pierre there's a link to the shipyard photo series where I discovered those "historic" Paris pictures. It's the old Germersheim shipyard, it had been abandoned for seven years when I first discovered it. Then I had visited it and explored there countless times (one of my favorite urbex object as it was large and nearby), unfortunately it was torn down in 2020 to make room for an office park, housing and a hotel. However nothing has progressed yet on that site except that the excavators created a nice and hilly scenery in the meantime...and left it at that!! ;-)
