Well, I missed the original festival in 1832, but they have a reenactment of it each year ;-)

A good sturdy castle and just the place to be in a revolution Edna. I like the view through the trees. If it's a flower revolution I would venture out !! I like the PiPs showing nice blossom and a lost scarf (?) Finders keepers :)

I guess they just planned the revolution in that sturdy castle and it actually took place elsewhere. But just in case the adversaries of the revolution were after the revolutionaries, the latter could quickly retreat to their sturdy castle and they were safe ;-)))
And in spring it sure is a flower revolution, so you may gladly participate, Rosa :-)

Well, just photographing the scarf was fine with me. If it belonged to a revolutionary, I didn't want to attract their wrath by keeping it ;-)

Aber immer. Ganz gemütlich im wald bei pfälzer wein oder, je nach gegend und geschmack, auch bier. Es darf auf gar keinen fall hektisch werden, sonst wird die revolution nämlich verschoben. Auf ein anderes datum oder womöglich sogar in ein anderes land ;-)))
