A lot of little towns here have railways but not necessarily a railway station. In most cases, it was converted into a "train stop", without a building or sometimes even without benches. And what's worse, always without a toilet!! ;-))) The former railway station building is used for other purposes, sometimes as a library, sometimes as an apartment building...
Das weiss ich. Ich erinnere mich noch gut daran. Ich bin ja ständig bahn gefahren, zur arbeit, in den urlaub, überall hin. Die dampfloks gab's allerdings nur noch in meinen ganz frühen kinderjahren, aber auch daran erinnere ich mich noch :-)
