Colorful Alley
Coenties Alley is a favorite lunch locale frequented in New York's Financial District. Formerly a throughway, it is currently a pedestrian only park that features a variety of mom and pop takeout restaurants. Straddling Stone Street, where more traditional sit down fare can be had, meals are often taken outdoors on benches. The Alley dates back to the 1830s.
