No sandstorm Ernst it has been a very dry summer and this is parked in a very dusty lane.

An iconic car badge, which I think most people will recognise James. I'm intrigued to know what this one is mounted on......it doesn't look like the bonnet of a Merc?

It is indeed on the bonnet of a Merc parked in a very dusty lane, I don't know what model it is but it's a convertible and I think from the 2000's certainly not before that.
