Not sure what you were expecting to happen? Perhaps if you'd left it standing in some water it might have grown some more green hairy fronds?

Anyway, I like the colour version and the detail is fantastic. I also like your grungy background and it all looks great viewed large!

I was just hoping that maybe it would become browner and more tatty, I guess I could have left it for another week but it is in the compost bin now, who knows what might happen there it might take root !!!
