Looks a little worn out and in need of a coast of WD40 but it works for me. Why do I think that 'still-life' meant something that is alive or has been alive? Great job, whatever.
lol, it still has life Herb and still works, I use it upon occasions it is just the addition of debris and a grunge effect that makes it look worst than it is.
A very apt title James............and when you think about it, this is a very clever, yet relatively simple piece of kit.
As has been noted it looks like it's had a fair bit of use, but the cogs all seem to be in good nick, and that's what counts. I love the detail you've captured and black and white is perfect for the subject matter. A super shot James!
