Saviours in the sky

The guys who crew this are hero's, twice the air ambulance has flown my late father in law to hospital saving his life twice and giving him quite a few more years to spend time with us.
Sadly he has now passed but we got more time with him.

James replied to Günter Klaus:

Thank you Güni these are essential to get people quickly from the island to the mainland, we have a hospital here but it struggles to cope with many things.

Best wishes for a good evening

James replied to Nouchetdu38:

They certainly are lifesavers this one was on a mission for a very young child who thankfully was ok.

Nicely captured James.........it's good to see some rotor blur. Your title says it all..!!

I'm guessing these helicopters are essential if you live on an island.

James replied to Keith Burton:

Absolutely essential Keith we do have a small hospital but it can't deal with major incidents.
This was taking off from a field close to me so I grabbed my camera and got a beautiful pin sharp shot with just a bit more rotor blur and then realised I had my camera set to b&w!! doh. I quicly changed it and grabbed this shot.
Many thanks for the comment

James replied to Roger (Grisly):

Thank you Roger they are indeed hero's and I find it amazing that they are supported by charities and not the government
