Such a beautiful display.........I love the vibrant colours and shapes against the dark sky.

This would be a difficult shot with today's modern cameras.......I can't even imagine how you managed this with a film camera!

You put the camera on the B setting and hold the shutter open for around 20 seconds or so, on a DSLR you can actually use the B setting and hold the shutter open and at the same time view on the rear screen the image forming then just close the shutter when you are ready. I haven't tried doing fireworks on a DSLR and I don't fancy going out in the cold to try it !!
