With a gross tonnage of over 35,000 tons and a length of almost 200 metres, the 'Pan Orion' is a heavyweight arrival into Sunderland. Asissted by the Svitzer tugs Cecilia, Tyne and Jubilee, it would stay for a week at Corporation Quay before heading on to Vlissingen in the Netherlands.
