The National Glass centre in Sunderland. Unfortunately the building was damaged in a storm in late October 2023 and the river walk has been closed since then. Similarly, the always popular restaurant and shop have not been open.

This comes on top of various defects found in the building last year which have put the future of the centre in doubt. Costs for repair or replacement were estimated to be between £45-70 million:
