Thank you. Actually, this was taken in the Yellowstone caldera, which (according to Wikipedia,) measures 70 by 45 kilometers, and was created by 3 extremely large volcanic eruptions. The most recent, which occurred over 600,000 years ago, ejected approximately 1,000 cubic kilometers of rock, dust and and ash.The underground magma chamber is 80 km )long and 20 km wide. So not a mini volcano. It is a beautiful park in all seasons.
