Die Sonne streichelt gerade die Dächer, aber die Stadt versteckt sich noch in ihrer eigenem Schatten. Es ist früh am Morgen in Berlin, ein Viertel nach fünf, am 22 Juli.

Mit dem Bild versuchte ich eigentlich die Stimmung abzubilden. Schwierig. Gegenlicht. Ich finde, dass die Stimmung zeigt sich mehr, wenn man das Bild mit ein bisschen Abstand anschaut und auf dieser weise nicht von den Details abgelenkt wird.

The sun is just caressing the rooftops, but the city is still hiding in its own shadow. It is early in the morning in Berlin, a quarter past five, on July 22.

With the picture I actually tried to depict the mood. Difficult. Backlight. I find that the mood shows more when you look at the picture with a little distance and in this way is not distracted by the details.
