Spy Satellite Target
Taken in the desert near Casa Grande, Arizona. These markers are located close to the RV park where we spent many winters.
The "target" is a group of concrete pads in that shape. There is a benchmark in the exact center. The operators of the spy satellites would take photos of these markers, and then check their locations against the exact positioning of the benchmark.

I've added a screenshot of the Google Maps satellite view as a PiP.
There are at least 2 other targets like this in the Casa Grande area on the north side of the freeway, and can be hiked. If I recall correctly, this is the only one that I managed to photograph.

right across hwy 84 from the Francisco Grande hotel/resort.
There are several that I can see, south of the I 8 freeway, but they are on private farmland.
