Benches to View Bosporus Tanker (HBM)

Taken during that quick visit to the Bosporus on our cruise in 2016. This is one of the few areas I photographed that had benches for people to sit and enjoy all of the activity on the water.

There were a lot of tankers in this narrow area.

For the Sunday Challenge, this depicts contrast: a huge tanker ship, and the small human figures in the foreground.

I remember the feeling to be up there on deck, feeling to be a small thing … and powerful one at the same time. Miss it sometimes.

Huge ship and little people. What a contrast. I can; say I'd enjoy watching larges ships going past.

LOVE THE LIGHT ON THE POINT !

Robert Swanson replied to Pam J:

We are all glad that they installed that ATON (light) on the point. Don't want those huge ships running into the land. In the "old" days, they probably would have a light-house (and keeper), but everything is automated these days.
