fishing with grandpa

For Andy

Not easy getting a youngster, full of energy to the brim and spilling over with it, interested in something that requires patient waiting and silence, but this grandfather was doing quite a good job at it.

I am not fond of recreational fishing (not fond of anything in which "recreation" involves taking an animal's life, frankly), but I enjoyed watching the bonding of the two generations here.

Even with its contradictions, life is beautiful. Andy, keep fighting that nasty virus and come back to us soon!

I fully agree with you about not enjoying anything envolving taking an animal's life and I am almost vegetarian. Maybe the almost is still too much, but if all humanity eated as little animals as I do the world would be a better and more sustainable place for sure...
Learning from grandpa is something many youngsters do not have time too nowadays, too much occupied by social media on their cellphones...

Bon jeudi

Lovely scene in a beautiful place! It could be a timeless scene if not for the mask.
