Thank you, Herb. Light fascinates me too. It's my latest photographic "toy" so to speak ;) These are the advantages of being still rather new at photography: you get to discover, almost with the awe of child discovering the world, things that are "old hats" for experienced photographers. :D

Mercì, Dominique. People were heading home and when I noticed the sunbeam I waited for someone to pass just by it and this child with light-coloured clothes went by just in the right spot! :)))

Yes the timing here was all important, well taken Annalia, it's good when the shot turns out the way you wanted and expected.

Thank you, HappySnapper. I am not yet very good at "anticipating the moment" but this time I did, a little. People were heading home and when I noticed the sunbeam working as a spotlight I waited for someone to pass. You always need a bit of luck too and that was the part where this lovely little lady dressed in white and riding her shiny new bicycle went by just where the light was shining! :)
