Vasa Museet
Much has been written and reported about the Vasa - it was a Swedish prestige project in the 17th century and was intended to represent the strength and power of Protestant Sweden as a magnificent warship.. Maybe Wikipedia will be enough to get you started:

In a nutshell: Gustav II Adolf (1594-1632) had the Swedish galleon Vasa (named after the royal house of Vasa or Wasa) built as a prestige project, but it capsized and sank after 1300 metres on its maiden voyage and became a magnificent underwater galley. After a record dive time of 333 years, the ship resurfaced and was placed in a marvellous museum.
After this failure, Gustav Wasa shifted his core competence to the production of crispbread:
