DUMBO is not in Manhattan, but from there you have a wonderful view over the East River to the skyline of Manhattan.

DUMBO (or D.U.M.B.O., short for "Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass") is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn.

The area encompasses two sections: one located between the Manhattan Bidge and the Brooklyn Bridge, which connect Brooklyn to Manhattan across the East River, and another that continues east from the Manhattan Bridge to the Vinegar Hill area.
