Ahold Central Europe (ACE) originated in January 2003 and joined forces of Ahold sister companies in Slovakia, Poland and the Czech Republic. Now the ACE sale network comprises more than 505 Albert supermarkets and Hypernova hypermarkets in Central Europe. In 2005 the companies within ACE have recorded sales of 1,761 billion Euro (without VAT). Ahold Central Europe is managed from Prague.
