Yes I have a few blackbird families in my garden and I feel sure they recognise me. I don't know how long these birds last, so it could be "Billy Newsman" - my nickname for one who lived in the garden for years and would sing so loudly, and it seemed to be in different ways, so I called it "Newsman" because it seemed as if it was telling all the birds in the garden, any news but in the language they used!!! I know - I need to get a life!!!!!!!!!!
