Thanks Keith. My daughter lives there - in the second bay up. She's been there about 8 years now and there is so much new builds going on there, such a shame really. I try and go there every year, although it's been 3 years since I was there. I tend to stay around 6 weeks when I do go.
I visited Turkey a couple of times many years ago (when I was in the RN), but I never made it out of Istanbul (and I didn't have a camera then).........both of which I regret :-))
A fine view, and place for your daughter to live. A lovely area... we sailed out of Kos, around the Dodecanese islands, back in 1994, but didn't call in to Bodrum.
Yes you can see Kos from where she lives. It's fascinating looking across the bay and realising that not only is that a different country there, but also Europe as Turkey is in Asia.(well this part of it is). I've been to Kos a few times - beautiful island.
So you are Turkish? I love your country very much. My daughter is having fun trying to renew her residency at the moment - she has to go to several different places to get all the items required for her side of the residency request!!!
