Oh I see, that is what the Danes do too, under the tree. I was thinking of how it was at home, Mum hid them to prevent us from poking and shaking them in the hope of working out what we would be getting. We would have them Christmas morning in a red died sack or box covered with red crepe paper placed by magic beside our beds during the night.
