Things seem to be much more relaxed these days, Maurice. There was a heavy police presence in Rome, not surprisingly I suppose. I took a number of police shots and got away with it. Maybe they just didn't notice?

Reminds me of a lunch I had a long time ago in rural Tuscany. I had invited my parents along for the trip, and as we had lunch one day at a countryside restaurant near Volterra, a group a carabinieri came in and sat down at the next table. My mother told us to stop drinking wine, and next thing we saw, the carabinieri had ordered the same local wine for lunch, too... ;-)
