At first I thought it was a beaver (Castor sp.), but it really is a capybara. Where was this photo taken ? In any case, it is an excellent photo .

Nice to meet you.. I've seen this animal in the Poitou-charentes in France. This is a ~un ragondin. It's about the size of a big cat.
