Gayle is a picturesque, rural hamlet in Wensleydale, North Yorkshire, located 0.4 miles south of Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales. Known for its traditional stone cottages and the rushing Gayle Beck, it is famous for the 18th-century Gayle Mill.
