Another from Buttermere
Hauntingly beautiful. Majestic. Enchanting. No matter how many adjectives you use, they’ll never do Buttermere the justice it so rightly deserves. Buttermere lake and village lie inside a dramatic valley where hushed woodlands and mighty fells cast shimmering reflections across the water. It has become one of the most-loved places in the Lake District, and rightly so.

The hilly background is very impressive and I love the dramatic sky. The light and reflections are superb. The clear water showing the pebbles and the old tree trunk make perfect foreground interest.
Very well composed and taken. Outstanding in black and white..!! ⭐️
