Whitby

Whitby is a seaside town in Yorkshire, northern England, split by the River Esk. On the East Cliff, overlooking the North Sea, the ruined Gothic Whitby Abbey was Bram Stoker’s inspiration for “Dracula”. Nearby is the Church of St. Mary, reached by 199 steps.

Beautifully composed TOZ. The light is lovely, despite the grey clouds and a wonderful view from where you are standing!

A fantastic coastal landscape!

I had to look twice here to understand where you had taken it from. I see now, that you are actually at the top St Mary's church near the Abbey itself looking NW. Great shot. Well done.
