Flascoe Bridge

A clapper type footbridge reputedly of 15th century date. It has five limestone and slate flags on four rubble piers. It is about 75cm wide and a total of 10 metres long. It is on a walled track, probably part of an early road system from Feizor to Austwick. There is a ford adjacent for animals and wheeled traffic.

A beautifully composed and taken shot TOZ. I like the look of the old bridge and the dry stone wall. The surrounding landscape looks really lovely.

Another of this type of bridge from you Gordon. You seem to know where every one is! That blue accompanying sky sure makes the whole scene shine too. Well done.

Enjoy the week. Herb
