A grand shot Gordon..with intriguing formations - I always wonder where such things as 'Winskill stones' comes from,. and why they are there,. probably were below ground thousands of years ago,. / Anyway enough of this deep thinking - I'll take a geology course // Keep well and Cheers'.. from Dj.

Stunning scenery; well seen and captured

Such a lovely shaped tree.......and it's easy to see which way the prevailing wind blows. It looks beautiful against that blue sky!

The distant view looks very nice........and I love the rocky foreground.
