Pen-y-ghent...........HWW

My yesterdays walk.
Pen-y-ghent or Penyghent is a fell in the Yorkshire Dales, England. It is the lowest of Yorkshire's Three Peaks at 2,277 feet; the other two being Ingleborough and Whernside. It lies 1.9 miles east of Horton in Ribblesdale.

The big staircase almost equalling the great wall of China from the moon here on Pen-y-Ghent. Seriously though, a great capture of this fine peak. Memories of our trek up here some years back too. Well done.

I have never, to my shame, ever been on a walk in Yorkshire! This is a super shot that makes my chagrin at my loss all the harder to bear!!!
