Looking up W 42nd Street from 12th Avenue (Scan from June 1981)

The Google Earth view from 2024 shows much development in the area over the last 43 years. The small brown building in the original picture (centre left, far side of 11th Avenue) can just be seen on the GE view. It is now FedEx Ship Centre.
