First Photo from Martian Rover, coming in for a landing ... maybe the Red Planet really is red !! ...

(And, yes, because Andy Rodker has called me out on this -- it is really the edge of a freshwater pool in the Assateague barrier island dunes. And also, in a rare "photoshopping', the reddish color is added.)
