... Oh, this place is DownEast Maine -- Calais is pronounced "cow - less" ...

Oh, this place is rural Americana -- as I took this shot, a beat-up car sped around the corner, and shirtless young man hung most of the way out of the passenger window and screeched: "Take my picture!" ... And I would have too, if they had stopped; because he was grubby and disreputable enough to be photogenic.

... maroon, brownish-red ... they are painted; I wouldn't call them red ... even though they certainly should be, Marilyn's lips are not red enough to be "Der ROTE Punkt" ...
