An unused Harrower stands decaying in the fields of 'Ault Hucknall'. , a village consisting of > a Cottage - St.John the Baptist's Church - a cemetery - a working farm - and 'The old Manse' ,. then nothing more - just open fields,, known by locals as 'the smallest village in England'
The Philosopher 'Thomas Hobbes' who died at nearby 'Hardwick Hall' - was interred within the Church following his death in 1679.
