The outer walls of the empty shell of Bolsover Castle, the first structure of the present castle was built between 1612 and 1617 by Sir Charles Cavendish. Other parts of this castle are still very complete with some furnishings, the castle is part of the UK. 'English Heritage network' and can be visited and toured.
