World photography day,. August 19th.
I chose this location for the W.P.Day,. with a theme ''old still in use today'',. here is the old inclined railway route [ removed by 1898 ] up from the 'Moss valley' when it was very busy with industrial works,. a mine, mills and numerous mill dams, but total silence now,. a track from the past but still in use today as access to many other pathways around the area.. where visitors capture the sounds and sights of the open countryside on todays digital devices

I like this for World Photography Day partly because of the history. Often nature gives way to time and us people, this is pleasant to see nature overtaking past human history.
Was this from a vacation, or nearby where you live? I hope you can go there often as it looks to be very soothing and beautiful.

I love old railway routes............they're generally quite easy walking and well maintained and go through some amazing landscape.........and this is a perfect example.
Beautifully composed with super leading lines and loads of gorgeous greenery (and a touch of browner). A nicely dramatic sky too.
Lovely words to go with the shot as well sir!
