Saarburg

Die Saarburg in Saarburg. Links die evangelische Kirche.

Die Saarburg wurde im 10. Jahrhundert erbaut. In den folgenden Jahrhunderten wurde sie bei verschiedenen Ereignissen entweder zerstört, verteidigt oder besetzt. Ab 1734 war die Burg kaum noch bewohnt und verfiel allmählich.
