We know this as Pokeweed.............and it is really unusual looking. I have only seen it before in formal public gardens, so I don't think it is very common over here.

It is very photogenic though...........and you've captured this one perfectly. The colours and detail are spot on.

Es ist die Indische Kermesbeere. Ich habe sie nie in meinem Garten angepflanzt. Möglicherweise haben die Vögel sie verbreitet. Mittlerweile wachsen sie an drei Stellen in meinem Garten.

I have never seen this plant before Wilhelm but it is very attractive with the richly coloured berries.
