Zagara is the orange blossom , the white and fragrant flower of citrus fruits, in particular bitter orange, but also of lemon and bergamot. Typical of Sicily, it symbolises purity and marriage. It blooms mainly between April and May, giving off an intense and delicate aroma, and is used in perfumery, cosmetics and cooking.
