HFF from HS2 ~ CSP ~ M25

The HS2 line is actually being tunnelled under the Chilterns and approaches the M25 at right angles just right of the shot with the entrance to the tunnel also there.

Then there is a magnificent viaduct carrying the new line over the valley to the right of shot as well

Very nice reminder that HS2 is actively being built now!!
(We just don't tell everybody to keep Greta and her mates away!!)
Best Wishes, HFF, a nice weekend, and stay safe!!

Lurve the curve. The HS2 is not popular in the Midlands. It was supposed to be much quicker from Birmingham to central London, but now it isn't going into central London, so it will be no quicker at all. What an incredible waste of public money, and a blight on the countryside.
Belated HFF dear Nick.

Nick Weall replied to Amelia:

Hi dear LGM ~ Central London is still on the cards. Great projects of civil engineering are of great benefit eventually, especially if they ever get the northern lines done. Thanks for your good wishes ~ I wish you a good week ahead ~~~

Missed this on Friday Nick. it sounds like this bit, at least, of the HS2 might be quite nice when done. Whether it will really get up to Manchester is anybody's guess.

Belated HFF and cheers. Herb
