Floating fireworks and wobbly dwellings. Imaginative work, dear Nick, and I love these reflections. We're both exhausted after a long weekend of house guests, and the searing heat. It's still very warm this morning and I've been in the garden since 5.30 cutting back withered perennials and roses so that the promise of rain can reach desiccated parts of the garden. We've just had a short light shower which has hardly wetted the patio, but at least it's a bit cooler.

Poor LGM ~ yes it cannot have been too much fun playing host in such hot weather ~ hopefully the slightly cooler weather persists for you ~ here we are still waiting for anything although we have had some cloud ~ I hope that you soon recover
